Love to hear all the emphasis being put on tackeling. Hate to admit that we are not a good tackling team, but it is true. Even now when I write this I am reminded of Derwin almost killing Austin Dulin last year. I swear, go back and watch some of the vintage stuff. Junior Seau, Eric Weddle, Shaun Phillips, Lorenzo Neal, Merriman and many others. I know safety is an issue, but when you watch the old tape you can tell opposing teams didn't even want to catch the ball. I look at Joey, Derwin and Khalil and think OMG. Those 3 guys are beasts. What more do you need? I would love to see this team REALLY take a step up in not only tackling but in just knocking the crap out of people again. So here is my question: past or present who is your favorite 'knock the crap out of somebody' player for the Chargers. This was a tough one for me, but I go first. I am going to take Junior off the board. Met the guy once so heavily biased. 1995. KC vs SD. Junior stops Marcus Allen mid-air. One of the most brutal collisions I ever witnessed in football. Something you cannot unsee.
