With Ladd and JK out tonight, that first half really showed how low the offense can get when no one else is stepping up. It's got me thinking about playmakers we can get for next season in the draft. I would really love WR Tez Johnson from Oregon, he has real speed and also crazy route separation. And at the RB spot I would LOVE Cam Skattebo from ASU. Cam is from my hometown school of Rio Linda, CA and I played with his older brother Leo in high school. Cam is arguably the best RB in the entire nation with Ashton and Cam runs the ball extremely hard thru contact, while also catching out of the backfield, he's a true 3 down back. Jim harbaugh took all of my chargering PTSD away in one game! When we got those 2 fumbles and couldn't turn them into TDs my first thought was "here we go again".... It's 16-10 and I'm looking at the time on the clock saying, it's going to be 17-16 raiders at the end. Then I watched the chargers finish a game in a way I have personally never seen before. We ran the ball, we closed it out and actually scored TDs to put it away in decisive fashion. How crazy is it that Justin Herbert didn't even have 150 in passing yards and none of us even care right now because we know we can win with a complete team effort now? This is what Herbert has needed since we drafted him. A real head coach and a good support system so we don't need to force him to use his super powers every game. Now to my real question.. What was it like with the raiders fans outside of the stadium after the game? Any fights, crying, or delusional raiders fans still saying Sofi is their house? Suck my butt ! Family trust respect ! Hey CC gang!!!! Feels like this off-season is going by so fast with the hype and excitement of harbaugh. That's got me kinda thinking about pre season in a few weeks and looking to seeing some starters play again with the Staley system gone. If any starters do get some time in the first 2 pre season games, how much do you realistically think they play. 1 series, 1 quarter, first half? Or do you not even want them to play in pre season? But you can only choose Chiefs, broncos, and raiders players. They can be from any era throughout NFL history, who are you taking to round out your team!? I know it's an icky debacle but you must choose at minimum 1 player from each franchise, so you will have a raider player on your team! Hey Wooldog, Kev and Kyle! I love the pod and have been watching for about 2 1/2 seasons now. I watch all the chargers pods on YouTube... The director, chargers unleashed, locked on chargers, Michael maclane, guilty as charged, etc. But you guys along with ask boltfam definitely keep me laughing the most! I have a question... With Jim harbaugh at the helm do you believe this can be the year that Justin Herbert finally stops getting his balls batted down so much at the line of scrimmage?? I love Herbert! But that has always irritated me so much that our 6'6" phenom QB seems to always have TDs or drive extensions taken away by D lineman with their hands in the air.
