Love our free agent pick ups and hope the all have healthy and productive tenures with the Chargers. However as a chargers fan of over 40 years I know better. What is your prediction on which of our free agent signings will have the most Bryan Bulaga-esque stay with the Chargers?

You can Quantum Leap into the body of a Chargers GM for the day on any draft day in history to change the fortunes of the team. Which draft do you redo? Examples include: Redo 1983 in which the Chargers had 3 first round picks and take Bruce Matthews, Dan Marino and Darrel Green instead of Billy Ray Smith, Gary Anderson and Gill Byrd. Later rd picks could include Richard Dent, Karl Mecklenberg and Nate Newton. Redo 1991 and end the Chargers post Fouts march through the QB desert by drafting Favre in Rd 1. Snagging Ricky Watters, Aeneas Williams and Ed McCaffrey with your 3 picks in the 2nd. Late rd picks include Bryan Cox, Merton Hanks, Ben Coates, Leon Lett, Keenan McCardell. Erase the Ryan Leaf era by redoing the 1998 draft, staying put and taking Randy Moss, Charles Woodson, or Alan Faneca. Later rd picks could include Patrick Surtain, Flozell Adams, Olin Kreutz, Leonard Little, Jeremiah Trotter, Hines Ward, Matt Birk, Jeff Saturday, Mike Vandejagt, London Fletcher and Matt Hasselbeck.

A lot of Chargers fans want a WR like Williams or Olave in round 1 at 17 to bring speed to a less than lightning quick WR corps of Allen, Williams and last years round 3 pick Palmer. Chiefs now have two first round picks at 29 and 30 and a need at WR. Do you think the Chiefs new need plays into the draft calculus for Tommy T? That is, do you think Tommy T says, "I like Olave and McDuffie (CB, Washington) equally at 17, I should take Olave so he doesn't fall to the Chiefs"? Or is this draft so loaded with WRs that it really doesn't make a difference?
